1. They believe that their target customers are dancers between the ages or 3 to 18. While most of theirs customers are between the ages of 7 and 13. The customers unmet needs were dance wear that was fashionable and would last a long time and not wear out, fade, or get holes. They get a lot of their customers from dance conventions and competitions across the US. The demographic of their customers is more upper middle class because it is not very cheap. The social media their customers use is mostly Facebook and Instagram.

Hey Sarah, your entrepreneur seems to have an adequate understanding of who the target customer is. Essentially she targeted dancers between the age of 3 and 18, but ultimately realized that most of her customers fall between the age of 7 and 18. Personally I find it crucial to know what customers to target and where you can find them. It’s great that she uses social media to get to her customers, considering they are young and often interact on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Overall, your interviews were sweet and short to the point. The only recommendation I would make would be to question the interviewer a little further, or perhaps interview few more individuals to get a better idea. Great job! ReplyDeleteI am a dancer! And I would say that the demographic is probably also largely female... I enjoyed this blog post, and can see why there aren't always dance apparel that cater to me, falling out of the demographic as a 19 year old guy. I appreciate the fact that the videos were recorded steadily! Great job! Customers were very open to speak comfortably.

Your entrepreneur definitely has a great business and understands where he needs to be and what people he must cater too. I am sure as the business continues to grow he will cater to more and more people.
